Following the release of the record, he supported some of the world’s biggest artists on massive tours, including Moby, David Bowie, and Busta Rhymes. In 2001, Tiësto released In My Memory, his debut studio album, via his own label. In Search of Sunrise, a multi-album series, features some of Tiësto’s most popular early recordings. Tiësto’s Early Releases Through Black Hole Recordings, Tiësto released several CDs that made waves in the club scene. However, Tiësto departed from the label in 1997 and went on to form his own, the label Black Hole Recordings, alongside Arny Bink. The talented DJ’s big break came when he was signed by Basic Beat Recordings, a label based out of Rotterdam in The Netherlands. Before becoming Tiësto, he put out music under several other aliases, including Da Joker. He even drew the attention of record labels, and by 1994, he had released music via Chemo and Coolman Records. Tiësto would DJ from 10 PM until 4 AM every weekend in Breda, and he gained a following of loyal fans in the process. By the early 90s, he already had a manager, who encouraged him to start playing late-night concerts at a club in Breda, his hometown.
